  • As registered dietitians, we work with folks on their behaviors thoughts, feelings, and experiences around food, eating, movement, and body.

    We offer support with anything from planning meals/snacks, to processing and redirecting unhelpful food thoughts & beliefs, to tapping into sensations in the body to practice resourcing safety at meal times. There is a lot we can do together!

    We believe that anyone who struggles with an eating disorder, disordered eating, eating challenges, or their relationship to their body or movement can benefit from this work. Whether this is your first experience or you’ve been working on this for a long time, we can work together!

  • Initial sessions are 60 minutes. I will invite you to share some of your history and we will begin to develop a treatment plan.

    Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes. We will revisit previous goals/intentions, explore wins and challenges, and see where we want to go next. This format is tailored to each individual; over the first few sessions we will find a rhythm and structure that feels best for you.

    The course and duration of treatment varies for each individual, however weekly sessions are typically most effective for continuity of work as we begin. We can reevaluate frequency at any time.

  • Isabelle currently sees folks Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the afternoons and evenings, and Thursdays in the morning and early afternoon.

    Blake currently sees folks Monday through Friday.

  • We are licensed and based in New York but licensure laws vary from state to state, so depending on where you are located we may be able to work with you virtually.

    Here is a list of states that allow out-of-state dietitians to practice virtually in their state:

    Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

  • We have an equity pricing structure to provide multiple financial access points so that folks who are unable to pay our standard fee may have an opportunity to access treatment.

    Methods of Payment:

    Payment is accepted the day of the appointment via credit card or HSA/FSA card. If neither of these options work for you we are happy to discuss other forms of payment in a consultation call.

  • We are out-of-network providers, meaning we are not directly contracted with any insurance companies. However, we do provide superbills at the start of each month to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

    Different insurance plans offer different benefits, so the amount you are reimbursed depends on your plan’s out of network benefits. Below is a guide to help you discover what your coverage might be.*

    Here are some questions** you can ask your insurance provider - the phone number is located on the back of your insurance card:

    1. Does my plan have out-of-network coverage?

    2. What nutrition services & how many visits are covered under CPT code 97802 (initial consult)?

    3. What nutrition services & how many visits are covered under CPT code 97803 (nutrition follow-up visit)?

    4. What place of service codes are covered under 97802/97803? Are 02 and 10 (telehealth) covered?

    5. Are there specifications regarding the diagnostic codes covered under CPT codes 97802/97803? Meaning, are there codes that would be and would not be covered due to medical necessity?

    6. What is my plan's deductible and co-pay/co-insurance?

    If you do not feel that the representative you are speaking with is providing clear information, you can ask to speak with a manager and/or request a plan document explaining your policy that includes a definition of medical necessity for this carrier.

  • Cancellations: For folks participating in individual sessions, two (2) cancellations are allowed per calendar year (1/1 - 12/31). After these two cancellations have been used, the full fee for the chosen tier will be charged.

    Group Cancellations: Folks attending any group are required to provide at least 48 hours notice for group cancellations. Please note that this is different from individual sessions.

    Reschedules: If something comes up and you are unable to make a session, I do my best to reschedule within 3 business days without extra charge. This is dependent on both of our schedules and is not guaranteed.

    Planned Absences: Two weeks’ notice is required. This can be discussed in session or you may email me the details.

    Lateness: If you are more than 10 minutes late to session and have not communicated with me, it will be considered a no-show.
